Whirlpool® 5.2 - 5.3 Cu. Ft. Chrome Shadow Top Load Washer with Removable Agitator

The industry-first 2 in 1 Removable Agitator lets you customize any load to care for your clothes the way you want by easily swapping the agitator post in or out. With two ways to wash, it’s twice the washer you have at home.

Skip steps with the Load & Go™ Dispenser. Simply add detergent once and skip refills for 20 loads.

Soak, scrub and wash all in one spot with a built-in, dual temperature faucet and pretreat brush for quick, easy access to tools that help you get it all done at once. Plus, you can add detergent to the water stream to spot-treat stains before they set in.

Let the washer guide you to the right cycle combinations or customize up to 36 of your own to get the right type of fabric care for whatever you’re washing.

Get more water to help break down loose soils. This option lets you customize the water level to various depths so heavily soiled clothes get an optimal clean.

Easily remove the industry-first 2 in 1 Removable Agitator when your load needs a little more space to move. Impeller wash action cleans by rubbing the fabrics against each other, while the design of the impeller’s surface helps drive clothes from the outer rim to the center, where the deepest cleaning happens.

Tackle stains without a trip to the sink with the Automatic Presoak option. Set your washer to soak for 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes, then the washer will add water and detergent for soaking. The cycle will start automatically once soaking is complete

Adaptive Wash Technology with Active Bloom Wash Action senses the size of each load and then adapts water levels and wash actions, based on the type of load being washed, for optimal cleaning.

Come home to clean clothes with the Delay Start option. Schedule a cycle up to 12 hours in advance so you can get laundry done even when you’re not at home.

Thanks to the industry-first 2 in 1 Removable Agitator, you can easily reinsert the agitator whenever you want to switch back from the impeller. Multiple wash motions gently move clothes up, down and side to side throughout the cycle for a thorough clean.

Your small, lightly soiled loads will be clean in as little as 30 minutes with the Quick Wash Cycle.

Quiet Wash action helps keep operational sounds inside the washer and out of living areas thanks to sound-absorbing material.

Wash more than 2 baskets of clothes in a single load3 thanks to our washer with a flexible 5.2–5.3 Cu. Ft. Capacity. Keep the agitator in, or swap to the impeller for the extra room to wash bulky items.

EasyView™ Full-Width Slow-Close Glass Lid

Enjoy a clean, streamlined look with the slow-close, see-through lid that lets you easily check on your load while it’s washing.

The Sanitize cycle with Oxi eliminates 99.9% of common household bacteria4 by mixing detergent with an oxi additive.

Run the Clean Washer with affresh® Cycle every 30 washes with an affresh® washing machine cleaner tablet or liquid chlorine bleach to thoroughly clean the inside of your washer.

Spin speeds up to 850 RPM remove moisture from clothes, so they spend less time in the dryer.

There’s less wear and tear on the transmission system over time thanks to a Direct Drive Motor that handles your larger loads with fewer moving parts.

Schedule your washer so your clothes are ready for the dryer. Use the Whirlpool® App to tell the washer when you’ll be home so it starts and ends the cycle on your schedule.

Manage laundry day from anywhere by assigning family members the next laundry step from the Whirlpool® App. Send customized text messages for transferring a load to the dryer or folding clean clothes.

Save your favorite cycles under any name and edit at any time. Access Favorite Cycles from the Whirlpool® App to send laundry cycles to your washer and start the load remotely.

Get the right clean for your clothes by downloading Specialty Cycles from the Whirlpool® App for items like activewear, swimwear, sleeping bags and more.

The Whirlpool® App delivers quick tips to make sure your family’s laundry gets the care it deserves while helping laundry day go more smoothly.
